I was such a bad snorer that my wife would often sleep upstairs and tell me that she couldn't get to sleep because I was snoring so loud. Worse, she would ask me if I would go and see a doctor about it. I wanted to stop snoring but to tell you the truth going to see a doctor seemed like a frightening option, so I never went. My snoring was causing my wife a lot of discomfort, and I wasn't feeling good about that.
In the beginning she was making jokes, trying to tell me in a gentle way how much it was bothering her. But in the end she lost her gentleness and at least twice a week she would say "can you go see someone about your snoring, it's driving me mad!" You probably know how she feels. Not wanting to face surgery, I tried several options but to no avail.
You don't know me, however I do realize if you are sleeping with someone that snores, your life and theirs is in some discomfort. The degree of discomfort varies of course on the level and frequency of the snoring. From my own experience I know that it really isn't a pleasant experience.
